Job Description

A multinational organisation which provides risk, security and medical services to non- Government and Government entities throughout the Middle East, Africa and Pacific region is seeking a standalone Group HR Generalist to work in their headquarters based in Dubai.


Job Requirements
• Liaison with the PRO for visa processing and transit visas
• Ensure leave records are kept up to date for all operating countries 
• Ensure employee database is kept up to date 
• Create and maintain hard and soft copy employee files
• Fulfil requests for information from internal stakeholders - passport details for travel/banking 
• Release NOC’s/salary certificates on request 
• Follow and direct the recruitment approval process for new/replacement hires
• Responsible for the provision of a comprehensive range of employment services including advice, maintaining effective records, writing reports/policies/letters etc.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with external recruitment partners to supply staff upon request to fulfil recruitment needs 


Candidate Requirements

Academic & trade qualifications required 

Bachelors in related field is desirable 
Relevant management qualification or training 

Work experience & skills required 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a challenging HR environment 
• Experience in the Security industry would be desirable 
• Understanding of local government, including context and constraints 
• Sound knowledge of employee relations issues/policies/procedures 
• Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals 
• Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team 
• Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture 
• Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development 
• Strong understanding of employment law
