Job Description

HEAD LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

 

The Job

•        Develop enhancement programs for each type of skill

•        Set up systems and processes for ongoing feedback to determine gaps and skills enhancement requirements and conduct skill enhancement sessions on a regular basis

•        Work closely with the HR team for planning career development and enhancing employee ownership and also identify training needs and trends within the organization

•        Manage the design, development, piloting and delivery of new learning and capacity building development programs

•        Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by creating evaluation components to track outcomes and ensure alignment with company objectives

•        Plan, develop and implement organizational needs to identify learning gaps throughout the organization

•        Managing and overseeing the development of the training team

•        Management of the training budget assigned to learning and development unit

The person

•        Strong interpersonal skills

•        Good verbal and written communication skill

•        Building effective teams

•        Designing and delivering a variety of training solutions

•        People management experience

•        Presentation and coaching skills

•       

Qualification

B.Sc. in Human Resources, psychology or a related discipline

Masters degree is strongly preferred

 

Experience

Minimum of 8 – 10 years professional experience in Training and development, Organizational Development, Human Resource Development
