JOB PROFILE

 

Job Position: Head of Consumer Sales

 

Function: Sales and Marketing

Job Grade:  

Reports to: ED

Supervises : CSM,CDM

Location: Lagos

Main Functions

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP).
  • Directing the Sales team and establishing sales targets brand wise, pack wise as per ABP, and helping them to achieve same regionally on monthly, weekly & daily basis.
  • Motivating Sales team to establish proper coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets.
  • Achievement of sales target

Main Accountabilities

 

  • Analyses of stock movement/availability
  • Clear focus on new channels like Institutions and Establishments to build Distribution, Visibility and volumes.
  • Periodic engagement of key distributors and top industry heavy-weights
  • Responsible for expansion of sales and achievement of Turnover & Profit targets.
  • Increase of nation-wide Market Share.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts.
  • Coach Sales Executives to build effective staff relationships that enable them to respond quickly to emerging customer opportunities, and provide for seamless execution of the company's business processes that exceed customer expectations.
  • Encourage high level teaming and collaboration skills to gain the committed and motivated efforts of the company's staff who do not report directly to the National Sales.
  • Champion the pursuance of identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinating marketing resources and the sales leadership team to define overall sales strategy.
  • Apply research insights and provide compelling advertising solutions based on the company's business strengths.
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable businesses
