Job Description

We are looking for HEAD OF MARKETING & INNOVATION, to be part of our Corporate Marketing team at Chalhoub Group, based in Dubai.

MISSION: Develop and manage the corporate marketing’s center of expertise of Chalhoub Group

PROFILE: Strategic thinker, international experience, dynamic, open, curious, good listener, team player, customer oriented, tenacity

EXPERIENCE: Strategic marketing, market and communication trends forecasting, operational marketing, Human management 


  1. Oversee the Groups’ internal marketing platform, Edge through:
    1. content management,
    2. customer relationship CRM,
    3. performance metrics analysis, community management,
    4. site optimization
    5. Marketing action plan
  2. Support strategic group projects through
    1. Analysis & research
    2. best practices
    3. Idea generation & recommendation
    4. Active participation to Strategy & Innovation taskforce
  3. Support BU’s through:

    1. Strategic marketing consulting: from brand development to marketing strategy
    2. Connect consumer, shopper insights, market dynamics to drive marketing recommendations/insights
    3. Organize quarterly review for our own retail brand concepts store (best practices :category, service, digital, marketing trends)
    4. Development and promotion of innovative marketing tools: communication trends book
    5. Provide a pool of qualitative marketing service providers (regionally, locally, international)
  4. Train, coach, and develop Group’s marketing personnel to develop a marketing set of skills and methodology in close collaboration with HR

    1. Determine training requirements by studying marketing competency gaps, division performances, assessing marketing personnel
    2. Undertake assessment of marketing personnel on a regular basis, against a structured set of marketing competencies and marketing KPIS
    3. Create marketing training programs: sourcing of providers, content definition
    4. Create and animates ‘thematic’ speaker sessions menu based on communication trends, best practices, marketing skills
    5. Filter marketing recruitment process and act as center of expertise
  5. Manage the marketing innovation team
  6. Set group’s marketing directions


Previous Experience: minimum 10 years of strategic marketing experience in multinational environment.
