We are recruiting a new Head of Marketing in Nigeria who can really step change our activities and brand awareness in the region. We are looking for a creative marketer who can deliver across the four P’s. But is also essential you have the ability to work at a senior strategic level as this role will report into the CEO and is key in building a marketing team that can support the delivery of growth plans. This is a critical role within the business and its essential the candidate has solid FMCG Marketing experience where you have demonstrated your ability to grow market share and execute effectively marketing campaigns across the region.
•To support the A&P CEO and Head of Commercial with the development and implementation of marketing plans to deliver business objectives in line with vision.
•Developing, presenting and implementing the marketing plan for the region.
•Develop all Trade Marketing initiatives throughout Nigeria
•Support developing the annual budget in terms of spend, activities etc.
•Develop and implement pan regional promotional activity
•Manage relationship with AC Nielsen, analyse data, and ensure analysis is used to optimise our business
•Develop and grow the marketing team inline with business growth and objectives
•Report regional KPI’s to the UK•Planning for new launches: Develop a launch plan by region within Nigeria
•Setting strategy by market by channel by category: Traditional and modern trade
•Experience as Head of Marketing - experience needs to be within FMCG and Food
•Proven track record in delivery of marketing activities where share space and brand awareness has increased
•Must have experience in Nigeria
•Degree qualified and experience of managing a team, working with cross functional teams
