The Head Technical Sales (HTS) is the primary technical resource for the field sales Team.
The HTS is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate for the Company.
The HTS must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
The HTS Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
In addition, the HTS must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
Generate and coordinate sales to surpass sales targets by business segment and in excess of budgeted amounts.
Manage key accounts
Target new business opportunities and sales generation
Maximize internal sales tools such as proposal generation, lead tracking, and the sales pipeline to secure new customers and expansion of existing accounts.
Generate "Total Cost of Ownership" savings for customers. Also includes writing Project Summary Reports and Proof of Performance documentation.
Interact with operations and other sales personnel to coordinate job scheduling activities to meet customer order requirements; provide sales quotations; and resolve customer complaints to insure 100% customer satisfaction
Expeditiously manage assigned sales accounts by creating a sustainable customer relationship with key stakeholders and by responding to customer complaints, providing expedient problem resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction with proactive and effective communication.
Interact with other internal departments such as operations, administration, and finance to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and orders.
Provide technical solutions and recommendation to prospective clients
Carry out administrative duties, stock & order management, report generation.
3-5 years experience
Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering with strong IT background preferred.
Excellent communication skills / people skills.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers.
Target Oriented and result driven.
Proven technical sales experience/ track record.
Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, proposals, and when submitting reports.
