Responsibilities

MAIN TASKS

  • Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation and entering data
  • Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions and job titles and department/division transfers
  • Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions leave, disability and non-taxable wages
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS

  • B.Sc/HND degree (especially in MIS, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics or any other related field)
  • Cognate work experience in Payroll administration or a related job would be an added advantage
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft office applications especially Ms Excel
  • Data Entry Management
  • Good Reporting Skills
  • Strong Numerical & Analytical Skills
  • Very attentive to details; highly accurate and thorough
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
