Within this role, you will join our HR department and learn how to support a commercial HR operation. You will play a part in all the key functions within the department and gain invaluable experience that will place you securely ahead of others in your position.
Specifically, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to the HR Team, reference and security screen new starters and handle telephone enquiries. You will undertake the management of documents, maintain HR records and input data onto the HR database.
Additionally, you will undertake recruitment, training and payroll administration activities, liaise with the Payroll Department and new starters and assist various Managers with probationary paperwork.
You must be educated to GCSE, O-Level or NVQ level 2 and/or 3 standard and be currently studying towards a qualification in, or possess a demonstrable interest in, human resources.
Additionally, you must be ambitious and eager to learn. Articulate and team-oriented, you must also be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities which will enhance your capabilities in the future.
Previous experience within an HR or administration environment would be beneficial to your application.
