Job Description

Working as part of the HR Shared Service Centre within the UK&I GHRS Systems Team the HRMS Coordinator will support the Local Service Enabler (LSE) in managing the UK&I Infrastructure that delivers Global HR System (GHRS), private country layer (PMD) and downstream interfaces e.g. payroll. The HRMS Coordinator will also support the delivery of cyclical operational events and directly contribute to change initiatives (country, sub area, area and global). 

  • People Application, Interface and workflow performance with the UKI Private layer (PMD)
  • Represent the UK&I GHRS Systems Team in the delivery of cyclical activity across the complete HRSSC/GHRS systems infrastructure e.g. BU Re-organisation, Holiday Carry Forward, Salary Review
  • Support the Local Service Enabler (LSE) as defined with the GHRS Service Delivery Model as required
  • Maintain work in progress (WIP) schedules to track bug resolution activity and change requests development work to People Application, Interfaces and workflows with IT Services
  • Provide Tier 2 support for referred GHRS queries from the Tier 1 support team
  • Contribute effectively to major change projects/initiatives e.g. Introduction of Pre Hire Functionality, supplier interface implementation/change legislative and/or procurement led
  • Adhere to escalation processes where necessary
  • Build and maintain effective operational relationship with Global Shared Services and HRSSC teams, Finance and IT Services
  • Contribute to HRSSC, CBS and wider HR projects and initiatives
  • Commit to own personal development and completion of appropriate learning and development activities to ensure capability and skills are current
  • Provide GHRS training to HRSSC end users



  • Perform User Acceptance testing (UAT) of changes to the GHRS systems Infrastructure and interfaces.
  • Monitor RCT processes and exceptions including day to day contact with Finance
  • Custodian of Security Profile spreadsheets for GHRS, Datamart reporting and UKI Private Layer PMD
  • Respond to and deal with data exceptions and inconsistencies with interfaces, people applications and workflow trigger functionality
  • Report from People Applications (private layer) where data not accessible via standard reporting universe
  • Assist LSE in monitoring for data accuracy and provide proactive solutions to problems
  • Coordination of ad-hoc new department set up within GHRS systems Infrastructure
  • Respond to user escalated user queries/problems on a timely basis and to satisfactory resolution
  • Assist with Tier 1 Support Desk activity as an overflow resource as required
  • Provide support to team members for major system projects as required across the HRSSC/GHRS Systems Infrastructure
  • Day to day contact with EMEIA People IT Service Delivery, People/HR Rewards DM & Reporting EAM Level 3, EMEIA Global Product Management, EMEIA Business Operations and HRSSC Teams to progress operational work requests and projects
  • Effective use of Service Now to support operational delivery



  • Functional/technical knowledge of PeopleSoft v8.9 functionality and reporting
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to explain and present technical information, advise/guide users on PeopleSoft and other HR technologies
  • Proven track record in the implementation of enhancements as a team member
  • Good process analysis and organisational skills
  • Qualified to A level standard or equivalent experience
