You will be responsible for the provision of generalist human resources support to the Director of Human Resources in order to ensure that human resource initiatives add value to the organization by fostering positive relationships and increasing colleague satisfaction and performance.
Support and drive the alignment, consistency and continuous improvement of HR strategy, services & operational practice across the G&C population.
Drive the continuous improvement agenda with particular focus on maximising productivity & measuring the effectiveness of HR service across the business and focus activities to improve customer feedback.
Work with G&C Department heads to develop their HR skills & capabilities; devolving HR responsibilities and building leadership capability through the middle management teams.
Ensure there is clarity & transparency on internal communications across the G&C population.
Ensure free-flow of two-way communication between G&C, regional and the SBU HR teams in an appropriate, relevant and timely manner.
Consult on workforce planning activities in order to optimise staffing levels, productivity and service standards in the most cost effective manner.
Drive talent management processes in order to ensure talent management is fully embraced and the benefits are fully realised across the G&C population.
Ensure all activities in performance management process are effectively executed so that colleagues have the opportunity to participate, receive feedback and are given opportunities to develop.
Oversee the ongoing rollout and optimisation of HR systems; ensuring business needs are identified, met and continually reviewed to support productivity and streamlining of processes.
You must hold a recognised HR qualification and you will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience at a managerial level and minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality.
It is essential that you are proficient in MS Office application, including advance excel, Numeracy, strong attention to details and fluent in written and verbal English with highly effective communication and influencing skills. Knowledge of Oracle HRMS, understanding UAE Labour Laws and job evaluation techniques would add an advantage.
