Job Description

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for providing direction and oversight function in the areas of recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
Track Human Resource policy revision including classification of updated policies and procedures and dissemination of same to employees
Manage the staff recruitment process including preparing job adverts, checking application forms, and organizing documents for the interview process
Liaise with the Finance and Administration Manager in facilitating/coordinating staff appraisal processes
Facilitate forums for resolution of staff grievances
Supervise payroll and maintenance of employee documentation and records
Develop HR planning strategies for short- and long-term staff requirements
Work with the team to analyze training needs of the organization and implement staff capacity improvement strategies
Plan with the Finance and Administration Manager, and sometimes deliver, training - including orientation for new staff etc.


A University Degree or HND in Business Administration, Public Administration or Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
3 years working experience in Human Resource management
Good spoken and written communication skills
Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues at all levels
Strong conflict/resolution skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Good level of gender awareness
Good organizational and administrative skills
Be proficient with MS Word, Power point and Excel
