Job Description

  • Working closely with customers, develop an understanding of their business, organisational structure, processes, systems and information;
  • Undertaking business analysis activities, such as interviews, facilitated workshops, business process capture, modelling and improvement, business requirements elicitation and documentation, in order to ensure that OSyS is able to implement its products in the customer organisation;
  • Working closely with customers, ensure that their specific implementation plan for an OSyS product is aligned with the overall OSyS service implementation plan;
  • Working in conjunction with the OSyS implementation manager / project manager, act as the OSyS representative at customer sites and manage the working level customer relationship, including reporting progress to the customer, resolving customer specific technical and programme issues, and working to ensure successful end-to-end service implementation;
  • Facilitate customer acceptance of OSyS products, including the production of deliverable artefacts;
  • Supporting customer demonstrations and delivering customer training or OSyS products;
  • Manage OSyS teams located at customer sites, if applicable.
  • Supporting the Regional offices to achieve their objectives.


  • You will hold a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Maths or Physics. (Or HNC / ONC or equivalent supported by demonstrable practical experience).
  • A working knowledge of a relevant industry sector is essential for this role.
  • A prolific and effective communicator, fluent in English.
  • You will be confident in information capture techniques, and with business process improvement techniques.
  • Knowledge of operational, maintenance and reliability issues and techniques in one or all of the following sectors - oil and gas, power generation, nuclear civil airlines, aviation or marine.
  • Preferably are a time served mechanical / Control and Instrumentation / Electrical engineer with strong IT skills.
  • Understand data analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of Project delivery and IT software/system integration;
  • Worked on business or IT implementation projects to gain business improvement
  • Knowledge of other industries utilising monitoring and optimisation techniques will be of special additional interest.
  • A track record for standardising and streamlining processes to deliver best value to the business.
The skills you will develop are:
  • A firm understanding of all OSyS products (including Equipment/Engine Health Monitoring, etc.), to the degree of becoming a super user;
  • Ability to demonstrate how the OSyS products can release value for customers in one or more business sectors / domains such as Civil Aerospace, Energy, Marine and Civil Nuclear;
  • Be able to configure the products for customers' specific needs;
  • A strong and methodical approach to gathering customer requirements.
