Reports to: Improvement Manager

Location:Akwa-Ibom State

Duration: One year renewable contract

Employment Status: Full time

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities geared towards household economic strengthening; lead the needs assessment process and training of project beneficiaries; support the beneficiaries to develop business plans and lead the team to review the business plans. The Improvement Officer will lead collaborations and linkages with Government agencies and financial institutions to support project beneficiaries; represent the project team at all meetings on HES especially the HES Community of Practice; thoroughly monitor the beneficiaries, document and report accordingly.


Qualification and Experience Required:

·        Minimum of HND degree in medical and social science, social work, community development, home economics, nutrition, or any other related field or discipline,

·        Minimum of 2years experience in OVC programming or any other related thematic areas,

·        Ability to speak the local language of the region, state or community is desirable and an added advantage.
