Job Description

About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to:

  • Ensure achievement of annual financial targets for key managed accounts
  • Develop & execute account development plans for key accounts
  • Build, maintain and measure commercial relationships with key partners within designated geographic and market segments.
  • Ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with Jumeirah’s Brand Standards.
  • To establish new relationships with niche producers who use multiple hotels in smaller volumes
  • To act as the liaison partner between Jumeirah G&C and Dubai contacts  

Responsibilities

Your main duties and responsibilties will include:

Business Development

  • Provide Leadership and direction in the development of budgeted business for key strategic accounts.
  • Ensure there is an aligned approach to business development activities.
  • Identify and build productive relationships with business partners.
  • Ensure account plans and activities are communicated and lead to achieving targeted revenue.
  • Represent the hotel where appropriate at road shows, trade fairs and other management events.
  • Lead the creation of flexible solutions to attract new and potential customers.
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
  • Responsible for communicating trends and business intelligence to the Jumeirah Commercial team and SBU teams.
  • To be responsible for key Jumeirah accounts plus any associated accounts such as Airlines, business groups, DTCM and other potential accounts.
  • Liaise with all Jumeirah properties and ensure their participation, exposure and growth in all accounts
  • Devise and implement a structured & timely process for annual recontracting or RFP solicitation
  • Actively pursue co-sponsorship opportunities within Dubai
  • Work with marketing to develop strategic alliances for loyalty, lifestyle and other commercial platforms.
  • Oversee leads and requests from Jumeirah Group senior management.

Measure and Report success

  • Set, implement and monitor production and sales targets by account by SBU
  • Research, evaluate International & local trends for future business potential.
  • Ensure Jumeirah’s systems and processes are followed including usage of CRM system.

Leadership

  • Establish an effective communication with global & SBU Sales to ensure cascade of relevant information & data on all strategic key accounts.

Requirements

About You:

It order to be considered for this position it is essential that you have earned a relevant degree from a recognised university and have at least five years in a senior sales role within the hospitality & hotel management segment.  You should also have nowledge of our key markets essential UK, Russia & CIS, Europe and GCC and a proven experience in strategic thinking and drawing up strategic sales and marketing plans.
