Job Description

As a member of a M&A team, you will spend most of your time supporting the Managers, Senior Managers and Partner in conducting Transaction Advisory engagements relating to  mergers & acquisitions, transaction structuring, privatization, pricing strategy, etc. The selected person will also play an important role in new business development including marketing, proposal preparation and follow up. Prior experience of leading / managing project-teams as well as experience in business development and client relationship management will be crucial.   Client responsibilities â–º Be involved in preparing proposals to prospective clients â–ºUnderstanding the key business drivers, identifying key issues and risks / conclusions and     providing value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice â–ºActively participate in the sell-side deal process including preparing the transaction documents    such as teaser and information memorandum, contacting and follow up other EY offices and    investors, responding to investors queries, etc. â–ºActively participate at meetings with clients including targets and other advisers throughout the    transaction process â–ºTake responsibility for own learning and development, provide coaching to others, and participate     in upward feedback â–º Understand and manage the transaction risks from the client's and firm's perspective â–ºShare your technical and other knowledge with your team and the department


The firm is seeking experienced and ambitious corporate finance professionals with the following profile: -   Technical skills requirements â–ºM&A Experience - Focus on developing opportunity in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. â–ºStrong prior M&A or transaction advisory experience in buy side and / or sell side â–º Knowledge of financial statements and valuation concepts and approaches â–º Sound financial modeling skills â–º Strong academic record including professional qualifications from reputed institutions â–º Strong report writing and reviewing skills â–º Strong presentation skills â–ºStrong project management skills â–ºVery good working knowledge of Microsoft excel â–º Ability to and experience of working within a multicultural team â–ºEffective written and verbal communication â–ºStrong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas   Additional requirements   â–ºExcellent Analytical, interpersonal and Problem solving skills â–º Demonstrate broad commercial and business acumen â–ºEffective time management skills, able to keep calm when under pressure to meet deadlines â–ºCoaching and counseling skills â–ºTeam player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
