Job Description

The job holder is responsible for planning, developing and executing the EG-IT Acquisition and Partnership programme. Work with key stakeholders within all of EG-IT to identify either acquisition and/or partnership targets that support the business strategy and overall EK Group policies. Produce the business case and secure investment, drive the implementation plan and ensure business case synergies are met.

Work with relevant teams engaging legal and financial contribution across all deals.
Develop and implement the M&A and Partnership strategy based in EG-IT priorities for creating a portfolio of Partnerships and Acquisitions which deliver the maximum value across Emirates Group and Mercator external customer needs

Analyse M&A and Partnership Targets and evaluate based on a business, technical and commercial attributes and portfolio fit, produce initial business case with appropriate synergies and payback terms; Establish contact with identified industry companies as part of initial acquisition discussions


  • Information Technology.Other 10+ Years
  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • Minimum: Degree or Honours possibly in a numerate discipline
  • Accounting qualified / Airline or IT industry experience
  • Financial and Business in-depth knowledge
  • Commercially astute
  • Corporate Stakeholder Management
  • Large and small deal experience
  • Experience in M&A transaction deals
  • Track record in successfully winning acquisition and partnership deals
  • Proven expertise in quantitative analysis
  • Track record of closing investment opportunities and business proposals
  • Proven experience in managing contracts with third party data providers
