Job Description

Responsible for the administration of the Simulator and Training Device spare part support system and the processing of simulator & aircraft part repairs across the network across multiple Etihad and Equity Partner training centres including the Etihad Flight School (Horizon). You will also be responsible for budget preparation and financial administration within the Etihad Training Devices & Facilities section.


  • Liaise with the various CAE (global leader in modelling, simulation and training for civil aviation and defence) maintenance engineering teams regarding training aircraft, Ab Initio, simulator and IPT (Integrated Procedural Trainer) spare part requirements
  • Ensure that all Training Equipment related repairs are promptly processed through EY Procurement Department and any follow-up actions are efficiently handled
  • Monitor critical spare levels and take appropriate action to replenish stocks as required
  • Liaise with Aircraft Part suppliers and component repair centres, regarding the repair of aircraft rotables and procurement of aircraft consumable parts
  • Ensure that technical and quality control procedures are strictly adhered to while handling simulator parts & aircraft rotables
  • Manage and reconcile Training Devices & Facilities petty cash float for day to day replenishments for simulator like gas, etc.
  • Administer Training Devices & Facilities parts shipping & receiving system
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded in the Training Devices & Facilities cost control systems to ensure effective budget control
  • Coordinate production of annual budget for Training Devices & Facilities department


  • Minimum of National Certificate or equivalent in relevant field
  • At least 10 years’ experience of materials processing in a simulator optional environment is essential, as is a detailed understanding of aircraft part processing procedures
  • Possess a good understanding of shipping & receiving procedures
  • In-depth understanding of aircraft part processing procedures
  • Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
  • Good financial skills and strong understanding of cost control principles
  • Proficient in use of MS Word, Access, Excel and Outlook
