As the Managing Editor you will specify, deliver and manage the development of a range of print and digital products within schedule and to budget. You will be managing and co-ordinating in-house and external project teams and you may be required to commission additional or adapted content.
You will already have spent a considerable period of time in an ELT publishing environment with experience of editorial project management.
Candidates should have extensive experience of teaching English as a foreign language and must show a sound understanding of what makes good classroom material.
You will have excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of delivering market-focused product on time and to budget.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team as well as a high degree of self-reliance are imperative.
You will also need to demonstrate strategic and commercial awareness.
A degree and a recognised ELT qualification are essential, and a higher ELT qualification equivalent to the DELTA or Trinity Diploma would be highly advantageous.
