Job Description


The Marketing Communication Manager will provide a broad range of communications and marketing support to the regions and geomarkets. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES    Day-to-day responsibilities will include the following at the region/geomarket level;   Marketing Communications
  • Work with the global marketing communications team to define and execute the global marketing communications strategy
  • Provide region-specific content to that strategy
  • Create region-specific communications plans
  • Compose region-specific success stories
  • Compose stories about events and activities, external communications drafts and e-Newsletter content
  • Develop and produce regional-specific marketing collateral
  • Develop and produce regional-specific content for
  • Participate in region-specific surveys for media trends analysis
  • Provide overall region-specific marketing support supervision and execution
  • Promote creation of region-specific technical papers and trade journal articles
Event Support
  • Manage regional events and tradeshows with the global marketing team
  • Collaborate with regional and local departments to plan product launches
  • Adhere to region-specific marketing communications budget
  • Ensure appropriate and consistent content across the regions and geomarkets
  • Create, edit, collect and post to a common repository region-specific presentation materials
  • Gather region-specific materials of competitive companies in the field together with the locally-based Makrketing and Business Development Group
Management of Third-Party Relationships
  • Manager Services agreements with local vendors and service providers for marketing communication needs; i.e., advertising agencies, publications, associations, etc.
  • Manage third-party PR firms and supervise creation of region-specific press releases, PR campaigns, feature stories, PR events, and publishing of releases and success stories
  • Manage relationship with media and press at the region level
  • Manage press and media interviews for the region


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Five or more years of marketing communication experience
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with the sales team and press
  • Strong analytical capabilities and creative skills
  • Background in managing advertising, promotion, communication and PR ganecies
  • Superior professionalism and judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in the language native to the region, as well as in English
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing programs
  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage a variety of projects independently
