Job Description

As the GEMS network of schools continues to expand we are looking to appoint an experienced Marketing Manager with a track record of managing product launches and increasing market share across the Gulf region.


  • Working to the brand guidelines of the group you will be responsible for the delivery of the GEMS message across both established and emerging markets throughout the Gulf.
  • Working with the regional management team in the achievement of student enrolments you will provide the group with localisation advice on brand and marketing plans, delivery of events, the development of community relations and be the regional liaison with media partners and media agencies.
  • As the regional marketing manager you will develop marketing plans for both pre-operational and operating schools, identifying key marketing objectives.
  • Provide advice and training where required to employees across the region to develop brand ambassadors and awareness of the GEMS core values.
  • Manage marketing spend for the region and the associated marketing budgets for schools throughout the Gulf.


To be considered for this post must have demonstrable experience in a either a product/brand manager or marketing manager role, a strong commercial acumen and hold a recognised post-graduate degree or industry recognised professional qualification in Marketing.

Based in our Dubai offices this position may require travel across the gulf region and as such applications will only be considered from individuals with extensive knowledge of the Gulf Region in particular the UAE and Qatar.
