You are a senior retail professional heading up a team of planners and merchandisers for all brands within the fashion retail business.
You are responsible for analysis of stock and actual sales to plan and develop promotional sales. Monitoring receipt of goods against orders placed, iniating mark downs, logistics and inventory management are all key responsibilities of this role.
You will prepare open to buy plans based on seasonal calendars, coordinate and synchronize the work of the buyers and merhandisers within the team.
A very key aspect of this role will be monitoring internal sales performance of each brand as well as study competitor strategy.
You are educated up to a minimum bachelor's degree in business management, commerce or any other related field with a post graduate degree or Diploma in Fashion Technology; Retailing, Merchandising or any other related field from an accredited institution with a minimum 8 years experience in retail merchandising and planning in the fashion retail industry.
You have strong analytical and forecasting skills with an indepth knowledge of the functionality of the retail industry and various product categories in the market.
You are a strong target driven leader with excellent communication skills and you base your decisions on in depth study and analysis.
