Job Description

  • Reports to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Responsible for: B2B, B to D & B to C Executives, On-line Sales Training Manager, Distribution Manager
  • Responsible for exploring, developing and nurturing multi-channel sales relationships
  • Negotiating, contracting and managing contracts with sales and distribution channels and outlets
  • Co-ordinating the activities of the regional business to ensure that sales volumes, product category budget and planned revenues are achieved
  • Responsible to develop non-store sales channels
  • Works with the Regional Sales Manager to build the annual B2B, B2D and B2C Sates budgets
  • Providing inputs for the development of the on-line sales projection and budgets
  • Resourcing and development of the team and the head office team and working with Regional/District Managers to develop the sales team
  • Providing business development leadership from the front, and co-ordinating the team to meet sales and revenue targets
  • Providing bespoke/on-going product and sell training to third party franchise outlets and other distribution channels
  • Managing the cost of sales budgets, and make periodic reports
  • Reporting to the Regional Sales Director on the foregoing activities


  • Very good track record in business development, preferably in the related product retail environment
  • Strong sales leadership
  • Effective communication and influencing skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to motivate the team to achieve planned outcomes
  • Demonstrate field sales leadership experience
  • Ability to interact at very senior levels to deliver lasting sales relationships
  • University degree 2.1, preferably with a masters in the Business Administration, marketing or related disciplines with not less 10 years experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in the consumer electronics appliances, accessories and telecommunication products industry
  • Ideal candidate will currently be functioning in a similar position in a related industry for a minimum of the three years
