Job Description

Ensures that foreign investments are registered with BSP.
Ensures that necessary documents are processed and complete to support fund/asset transfer transactions of client to other banks.
Ensures that BSRD related documents are released to the appropriate counterparty/ies to facilitate repatriation of invested capital to non-resident clients.
Ensure prompt follow-up of BSRD supporting documents from counterparty/ies for share acquisitions to effect BSRD registration to BSP.
Ensure that all BSRD related corporate action entitlements are processed.
Ensure that all reports are submitted to BSP on time and accurately enough without penalties being imposed to the bank.
Provide support to BSP automation projects relating to BSRD reporting.
Continuously liaise with BSP for update on rules and regulations and gather feedback on SCB's reporting performance vs. competitors.
Provide support to Securities Services by providing BSRD presentations, when needed. 


Ensures all activities defined in the Critical Task Checklist approved by the Unit Head are completed and any exception is escalated on a timely manner.
Performs backup/relief functions as defined in Operations Support Backup/Relief Plan.
Participates in projects assigned and initiatives designed to improve the quality of systems and operations
Ensures that practices within the unit comply with risk and compliance procedures and processes, local statutes and regulatory requirements.
Extends direct support in achieving satisfactory or higher audit rating from external, internal auditors and regulatory bodies.
Adheres to Securities Services & Trust Policies and Procedures.
Responsible for reporting breaches to their immediate supervisors or compliance officers if they cannot, by circumstance, report the breach to their immediate supervisor.
Participates, contributes and assists in the following activities: enhancement of existing procedures relating to manual and automated working environment; implementation of improved ways initiated by the unit; bankwide projects such as norms and values formation, community development, charity work etc., planning sessions to achieve overall efficiency and direction for the entire department.
Plan and direct training for immediate reports to ensure operational efficiency, to assist them in their career paths and open opportunities.
Instill discipline in the place of work and boost morale of the staff to maximize their productivity.
Performs other duties as may be directed from time to time which will not compromise segregation of duties. 


Good interpersonal skills with internal and external clients, local brokers, other custodian banks and governing agencies of the government i.e. BSP.
An ability to handle a variety of changing situations.
A good appreciation of the general economic, political and business environment of the Philippines including up-to-date knowledge of events/actions/announcements on corporate issues.
High standard of oral and written communications skills in English.
A thorough knowledge of the operations and rules of the local securities industry with some familiarity of how global custodian operate.
Knowledge of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas foreign exchange rules.
Ability to handle variety off changing situations.
Must possess an analytical mind and can exercise mature judgement.
Must have the ability to work efficiently in a high pressured environment.
