Reporting to the Lead Operations Rep-Maintenance & Reliability, Chevron Upstream Europe (CUE), the Operations Representative will serve as a member of the Captain Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Project Team during Project Phases 2-4, transitioning to an Operations & Maintenance Technician position during Phase 5 and beyond.
The position will require significant time to be spent in the contractors London Office during phase 2 and selected offices and construction yard during phase 3-4 and will require travel to various domestic and international sites.
For planning purposes candidates should assume that the primary work location during phase 2-3 will be in London. Other travel and assignment locations, including international sites may be necessary depending on the location of contract engineering offices and

Phase 2-4 responsibilities include coordinating and delivering all activities of the project operations input process, a significant part of the role will be interfacing with CVX and Contractor Facilities Engineering management and personnel ensuring plans are coordinated and ensuring alignment.
During Phase 2, 3 and 4, the position will undertake the following roles and responsibilities:
-Provide operational advice to company, project and contractors to assist in the design and construction of the selected Captain EOR facility.
-Assist with the development of operating procedures.
-Review of technical documents and other activities to support the Lead Operations Representative.
-As required represent the operations team at safety and technical meetings
-Carry out equipment inspections, and provide pre-commissioning support at fabrication sites, hook-up and commissioning support as well as start-up planning and execution.
All Project Operations Personnel on the project will be responsible for Incident Free Operations (IFO) behaviours resulting in safe and efficient operations and compliance throughout the lifecycle of the project.
-Significant Electrical Experience required for Low and High Voltage systems with offshore experience and previous project/hook-up experience being desirable
-Experience of Condition Based Monitoring techniques as well as RCM principles.
-A strong base knowledge of power generation, electrical switching and Electrical Maintenance will be seen as strength. UK Certification (Including IEC regs and ATEX) considered a plus.
-Knowledge/ Experience in use of key project processes.
-Major Capital Project experience and/or previous project experience considered a plus.
-Ability to manage the key deliverables of the Operations Assurance process.
-Demonstrates knowledge and focus on Operational efficiency and safety for Phase 5 operations.
