Job Description

Reporting to the Group Head of Recruitment, working alongside the line mangers and HR professionals of the Al Futtaim Group, your role will be to: 

Mentor and support the overseas based Recruitment Specialists remotely on a daily basis

Make regular visits to the Specialists based in KSA, Qatar, Oman and Egypt

Manage UAE based Recruitment Specialists

Attend manpower planning and senior management meetings

Design and implement recruitment strategies for overseas hiring campaigns

Offer recruitment and salary advice

Maintain an active preferred supplier list of temporary recruitment agencies

Work with the PSL to recruit all temporary hires across the group

Conduct quarterly service reviews with all external suppliers

Hold training sessions for your team

Conduct annual appraisals

Handle escalated issues from your team

Requirements

You must have substantial recruitment experience either from an agency or an in-house team

It is essential that you are willing to travel across the GCC and Northern Africa

Experience of managing large overseas recruitment campaigns is a must

You must have had previous experience of managing a team of recruiters and be able to coach, mentor and offer advice to your team

You must be passionate about recruitment as a profession and want to be part of the team long term

We need someone who can set aside process habits and quickly orientate themselves to what we do and how we do it

You will need first class skills with the Microsoft Office suite of products and you absolutely must have used at least one e-recruitment platform as a recruiter

Previous experience of working with recruitment agencies is a preference

Experience of recruiting both temporary and permanent employees would be a distinct advantage

More than anything else, you must have had previous experience of hiring employees from different countries into the UAE and understand the laws, regulations, benefits and issues associated with hiring from these countries
