Job Description


• Exploration and Business Development

• Supporting New Ventures activities with economic analysis e.g. Farm-ins

• Support Business Development with evaluations for acquisitions or disposal activities

• Developing Assets

• Project Analysis

• Project Development Concept Selection Evaluations

• Preparation and presentation of economics for internal/external audit and review

• Producing Assets

• Management, calculation and implementation of gas contract pricing and transportation and processing tariff model

• Supporting Long and medium term planning economics and analysis

• Supporting Quarterly Risk Reporting

• Undertaking Quarterly Impairment Testing cash flow analysis

• Commodity Price analysis and responsibility for contract price modelling and calculations

• PRT review and calculations where applicable



• 5+ years Petroleum Economics experience in the upstream sector is essential

• Upstream modelling software experience

• Knowledge of oil & gas market and the key value drivers

• Knowledge of transportation agreements

• Corporate Planning/Financial background highly desirable

• Financial and Economic modelling and analysis skills

• Experience of Investment Appraisal

   Understanding of Upstream transportation and tariff agreements
