Join us as Planning and Governance Manager, and you’ll oversee the creation of our integrated General Insurance (GI) corporate plan, including strategic, operational and budgetary planning. It’s an integral role with huge responsibility.
Along with helping us create a corporate plan, you’ll come up with an annual operating plan that translates financial data into achievable customer, sales, service, cost, risk and control targets. You’ll also collaborate with the Leadership Team on both plans, fine-tuning them in relation to product, marketing, resource planning, distribution and other areas. Moreover, you’ll be in charge of benefits tracking for the GI roadmap during the prioritisation, business case and delivered stages. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you’ll monitor performance and ensure we deliver what we promise.
You will need to be a self-starter with a strong background in forecasting and corporate and financial planning. In addition to knowing all the performance metrics for general insurance, you should have a clear idea of the products and channels that drive value. Highly analytical with the ability to apply commercial thinking, you should understand the strategies that make companies tick. Ideally, you’ll also have relevant information management experience, strong stakeholder management skills and an appropriate professional qualification.
