As a Product Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of pivotal product marketing activities aimed at increasing brand awareness and profitability.
Specifically, you will prepare training materials, write copy for data sheets and produce effective content for websites and brochures. Performing cost analysis, you will also undertake product messaging and assist in market positioning activities.
Operating from our state-of-the-art facility, you will work alongside colleagues and suppliers to ensure the delivery of a consistent and effective product message. Joining a highly skilled team, you will work across a wide variety of media types and platforms to ensure successful results.
Your other duties will include:
- Working with the Marketing Team on outbound product marketing strategies and campaigns
- Revising price books and product messages on a monthly basis
- Updating internal systems to support product updates
You must have previous marketing experience gained within your studies, a commercial environment or similar.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a creative approach are also key.
As a Product Marketing Assistant, you must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a methodical and structured approach.
A team player with plenty of initiative, you must have a 'can do' attitude, a keen interest in technology and the desire to learn and develop new skills.
Experience of the following would be beneficial to your application: data centres, networks, (including Internet delivery methods) MPLS, SIP or IP telephony and cloud computing. Experience within the IT and telecommunication industry would also be an advantage.
