As a Production / Process Manager, you will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of the print floor and packaging operation, including quality and process improvements.
Developing a close relationship with the Maintenance Department, you will aim to bridge the gap between machine and process improvement.
Monitoring existing KPIs, you will introduce new ones and analyse them to establish areas where standards and schedules are compromised in order to exceed targets.
Ensuring that all personnel, equipment, processes and facilities adhere to our client's health and safety policies, guidelines and procedures, you will oversee employee issues and grievances and carry out staff reviews.
Additionally, you will oversee, review and implement procedures and work instructions and utilise your findings to establish a structured training programme.
Previous experience as a production or process manager within a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of implementing KPIs to monitor performance
Experience of health and safety regarding working practices and including risk assessments
As the Production / Process Manager, you must possess superb leadership, influencing, articulation and delegation skills. An independent and analytical thinker, you must also have a hands-on approach and excellent problem solving, organisational and planning abilities. A good level of IT literacy is also key.
