Job Description

  • Managing document control including change orders, billings, field production tracking, purchasing documentation and contract administration.
  • Preparing reports and information as requested.
  • Working closely with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and employees; ensuring exceptional customer service and quality at all times.
  • Plan project progress [define sub goals, milestones and tasks, time and resource planning]
  • Plan personnel utilisation [determine responsibilities, personnel planning]
  • Manage project personnel responsible for implementation of the project tasks [hold and chair regular works meetings, motivate staff, manage conflicts and crises].
  • Monitor project progress and success [assess risks and hazards to the success of the project and take appropriate measures for avoidance]
  • Document project progress [project file, project log].

Competencies/Skills required

Problem analysis and solution, communication, presentation, conflict recognition, resolution, project organisation, cooperation, time management, task planning and prioritising, economical decision-making, Project planning and management presentation, conflict management. Project specification, project monitoring, risk management,  procurement, team building, liaison, team management, conflict and crisis management. 

Qualifications

A minimum of an HND from  a repuable institution

A minimumof 2 years project management experience

A certification/prior project management training would be an added advantage.
