Job Description

• With the assistance of Cameron Process engineers and others as appropriate, produce data sheets and/or specifications for mechanical equipment.
• Produce and issue Technical Requisitions complete with supporting documentation to allow outsourcing of bought-out mechanical equipment. Review potential sub-vendor proposals upon receipt.
• Review all mechanical aspects of sub-suppliers engineering design documentation for compliance with project requirement.
• Perform design and dimensional check on vessels, piping, and structural drawings.
• Address client comments on Cameron and sub-supplier mechanical engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers to develop, complete and check designs for company projects and proposals. 
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, quality, and projects personnel with regards to materials and technical questions.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as required. Estimated at up to 10%.
• Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment. 


• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10years relevant experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Knowledge of international mechanical design codes and programs commonly used in the petroleum industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques for vessels, piping and structure etc, and also the associated testing techniques and established industry QC requirements.
• General knowledge of oil and gas production, hydrocarbon processing and oil/water separation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Team player with a flexible attitude.
• Self-motivated with a positive outlook and approach. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write & speak English.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of structural and/or pipe stress design and analysis.
• Chartered or professional engineer status or willingness to work towards it.
