FMC Kongsberg Services Ltd has a position vacant for a Project Planner. If you are interested in taking on a challenging role in a demanding environment then this could be the position for you. The role will be based out of our WellingtonCircle site in Aberdeen, within the Planning department and will report directly to Supply Chain Department.

•Provide planning support to the project team for all project planning related aspects of the business
•To assist projectmanagers in the coordination of project activities from inception to realization
•Creation and maintenance of project schedules in line with FKSL processes & procedures and customer requirements
•Assist project manager in monitoringperformance of project i.e. bid vs actual, variation orders etc, identifying and communicating any deviations to the agreed work scope to the project manager
•Monitoring the maintenance of equipment, project personnel and overall deliveryschedules
•Communicating with various departments/customer support units to ensure validity of data & integrity of overall project schedule
•Ensure project documentation and files are maintained in line with company procedures
•Toensure that all work undertaken is performed in accordance with the requirements of the Aberdeen Quality Manual and Aberdeen Processes Manual

Main Tasks

•Establish requested project plans for the execution of work in accordance FKSL standards and
company WBS structure
•Planning of work in conjunction with the project team, customer and customer specific requirements
•Prepare andpresent detailed planning information (Gantt charts etc) for use by project team
•Liaise with project team, internal departments and other functional planners to obtain critical planning information required to update and progress projectplans
•Analyse updated plans and highlight any areas of risk or schedule conflict to the project manager, and where necessary elevate to the operations planner
•Report slippages against project baseline and advise potential impact onproject critical activities
•Update and issue weekly/monthly any status reports, milestones plans etc as specified by customer requirements or the project manager
•Assist project manager in ensuring that the project objectives are meton time and to the specified cost and quality
•Participate in review and preparation of internal service orders
•Establish and release service orders in SAP and track their progress through the system
•Creation and maintenance ofnetworks and activities within the project WBS, including review and analysis of required by dates in SAP
•Monitoring and reporting on all project specific SAP related activities
•Monitor project ‘scope of work’ within FKSL
•Identifyand report any deviations to the agreed work scopes to the project manager for review and subsequent variation order submission
•Collate and disseminate data required for monthly OTD reporting
•Ensuring that all project documentation,files and plans are maintained in line with company procedures and key index filing system, including SAP well files
•Additional ad hoc activities as specified by the project manager/operations planner



•Degree level of education preferred or minimum HND and/or relevant project experience gained within the Oil and Gas/similar industry
•Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
•Commercial and contractual awareness
•Financialawareness with respect to project activities and their cost impacts
•SAP experience in a similar function
•Proficient in using project planning software in a similar function
•Ability to multi task and prioritise in an effective andefficient manner
•Customer support background in refurbishment and service
