Job Description:
Preparing, tender and contract all necessary documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
Undertaking costs analysis for all repair and maintenance project work carried out.
Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
Performing risk and value management and cost control.
Advising on procurement strategy.
Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.
Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders.
Providing insight on contractual claims.
Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
Valuing completed work and liaising with the Finance to arrange payments.
Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
Providing insight and advises on maintenance costs of specific buildings.
Carry out frequent studies and reference on other project cases to solve any problems that occur in the field.

Requirements

A good university degree in Quantity Survey, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
1-5 years work experience in the construction industry would be preferred.
Have an excellent knowledge of engineering, technology and construction
Must have good critical thinking, operations analysis, decision making and complex problem solving.
Professional qualification would be an added advantage.
