Job Description

Job Summary:

The Incumbents handle the hiring process and reports directly to the Human Resource Director. They work with a team of Recruitment and Compensation Executives to hire applicants in various departments thereby providing a synergistic direction for the corporate hiring procedures.
They are also responsible for overseeing and administering employee compensation programs. Establishes a company's pay structure, approve bonuses and commissions, and administer executive compensation programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* They implement the approved hiring policies and procedures across all the departments and affiliate offices.

* They supervise a team of interviewers, screening administrators and 3rd party head hunters to ensure they conform to their duties and responsibilities as contractually obligated.

* They develop the plans and programs for cost effective hiring processes for the company.

* He or she has to present the capital and operating budgets of the office for approval.

* He or she also has to sync his requirements with the company’s website administrator to ensure that job application can be facilitated online through competent database alerts to the hiring managers.

* Administer compensation programs and develop and maintain the company's pay structure.

* Compare pay structure to company's competitors and perform compensation analysis to determine if salaries are on par with national average.

* Approve bonuses or commissions while collecting and examining detailed information about job duties.

* Approve salaries, Prepare job descriptions, Ensure pay scale is fair and equal, Research complaints about pay discrimination, Research inquiries into salary discrepancies and oversee performance management system.

* Ensure the Company's pay scale complies with changing laws and regulations and Purchase and analyze salary surveys.

* Design reward systems and set merit pay guidelines and bonus pay criteria.

* Administer executive compensation programs, determine commission rates for corporate sales staffs and approve salary for new job openings.

Skills and Specifications:

* He must be aware of state and federal laws governing labor and employment practices very well.

* He should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* He should also have outstanding organizational, leadership, supervisory and managerial skills as well as diplomatic tact and negotiation skills

* Five to seven years of Workers Compensation case management experience, including data analysis.

* Strong multi-state workers compensation knowledge with a strong concentration on workers compensation claims.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Ability to work with all levels of management.

* Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & Excel).

Education and Qualifications

* HND or Bachelor's degree in health, human resources or related field

* A Postgraduate or Master’s Certification or Degree in HR majors or CIPM is basic to this position. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the HR administrative functions preferably in the hiring process.
