Reporting to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for the following:
Ensure all stores have weekly sales plans and establish regular communication through beauty teams with monthly newsletters and weekly conference calls
Liaise with marketing to raise the profile of the business unit and define profit opportunities and suggest commercial activities
Support setting beauty sales target for all stores, analysing on a weekly basis
Analyse IPC and set targets to increase.
Review best sellers and locations to build on sales opportunities.
Review stock situations and feedback to merchandisers.
Have full understanding of competitors and pricing, formulate a SWOT.
Set weekly/ monthly sales competitions
Review basket sales for the region and suggest actions/learnings on how stores can maximise best practise
Make regular store visits to ensure customer service is always front of mind
Ensure personal appearance of self and teams are consistently high.
Collates customer feedback for future recommendations
Develop a calendar of all key training with the Training Manager, identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team
Work with Visual team to deliver excellent standards across all aspects of Visual Merchandising and ensures delivery of the Marketing Principles for all eye level and buy level décor.
Ensure all staff is trained in line with local/company requirements
Ensure all departmental staff, work hygienically and productively
Drive a profit protection mentality across department, raising awareness of potential risks and delivers shrinkage/waste plan including stock take preparation and execution
Suggest and develop specific departmental control systems in order to meet SOP regarding use of product for testing
Provide methodology for maintaining the integrity of stocks, monitoring and controlling of waste and testing products without compromising standards and customer experience
Business Management or relevant Degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in selling and commercial management of beauty products
Strong knowledge about beauty business, products and competition
Deep understanding of consumer insight and leverage the understanding for developing Marketing Plans
Must have the ability to acquire and analyse customer insight and build sales and profit opportunity
Comprehensive understanding of the skincare and make up application, consulting and sales of beauty products
Passion for working with beauty products
