The NOKIA team in the OEM sales division is looking for a senior regional account director who can lead our engagement across a diverse set of geographies and subsidiaries while contributing to the global success of a high-performing team.
# #This role will work with NOKIA regional leaders and teams in key countries, to drive initiatives that are instrumental to our future growth with this partner and our company; share in phone and tablet categories, landing new windows devices to compete in consumer and commercial segments. The successful candidate will also be skilled at internal negotiations and have a proven track record advocating and influencing for partners; across a broad range of internal stakeholders at all levels. Passion for technology products, especially in the consumer segment, and proven success selling and/or marketing technology products in emerging markets and developed markets are must haves for this position.
##As a Regional Director on OEM’s Nokia Alliance team you will responsibilities will include:
# Drive the IMEA regional strategy, sales motion alignment and overall performance against sales and marketing goals. Focus markets include India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, UAE and Africa region incubation.
# Own overall revenue attainment and license responsibility for the region.
# Manage the alliance between Microsoft OEM and Nokia, the charter of which is to operationalize the management of the alliance to ensure successful execution of the joint strategic objectives focused on a variety of smart devices.
# Ensure marketing execution is aligned with the overall goals and KPS’s of the account portfolio in region.
# Represent Microsoft as the strategic regional lead across all levels of NOKIA’s organization. Align Nokia’s business priorities and requirements with internal business groups. Articulate and land Microsoft’s short and long term strategies, approach, and programs
# Drive for win/win with the partner resulting in revenue optimization while striving for high partner satisfaction (CPE), through an engagement that sets the right expectations and holds each side accountable.
# Manage channel distribution efforts for the region working with HQ team member to drive insights into channel supply and local MS and NOKIA team expectations on demand.
# Drive operational requirements, escalate priority issues and resolve day-to-day conflicts to ensure smooth product shipments, and well-orchestrated sell-in and sell through programs.
# Map existing opportunities to increase device sales and identify growth areas for the partnership in the covered regions.
# Develop and execute correction-of-error plans that effectively address obstacles as we encounter them and use these plans as a tool to facilitate interaction between country/region and HQ for speedy and sustainable recovery.
# Orchestrate an effective rhythm of the business (ROB), with partner and internal Microsoft teams that practices on-going open communication and avoids surprises to the partner and MS.
# Contribute to manage monthly ROB reporting requirements across portfolio performance and key programs and initiatives for the covered regions.
## Be the Microsoft product expert for NOKIA, who is able to position and demo key products running or destined for NOKIA Phones and devices.
# 5+ years of business experience in high-tech, with relevant domain expertise in strategic alliance management, senior sales experience and product management with demonstrated success in driving global initiatives, outstanding track record of results.
# Telecom industry and experience in working with operator channel preferred.
# Ability to build lightweight frameworks to efficiently operationalize complex business processes.
# Must have a proven track record working with different cultures and business disciplines.
# Excellent verbal and written communication ability with requisite interpersonal skills to partner, collaborate and build relationships with our customer, and with Microsoft subsidiary and regional teams.
# Strategically focused, anticipates and develops business opportunities and priorities for future action, while being able to focus on achieving concrete business results through tenacious execution during the fiscal year.
# Understands how to get things done, demonstrates organizational agility to overcome obstacles, and achieve objectives within and across groups.

# This position requires international travel (approx. 30% of the time)
#In this role you will have frequent contact with all levels of management, ranging from field and account sales managers, HQ product management to executive management both within Microsoft and Nokia.
##Skills/Abilities: Proven track record managing and leading sales teams; Experience in managing teams that are distributed across large geographic boundaries; Strong sales and negotiations skills; Industry and technical marketing level knowledge of PC hardware, Mobile Devices, systems software, applications and peripherals. Working knowledge of PC sales/distributions channels, Phone and Operator sales channels, and PC assembly operations; Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit; Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills; Analytical skills that allow to extract core data from an abundance of sources, drawing conclusions and translating those into action. Good understanding of licensing/legal contracts; Work under continual deadline constraints.
