Perform work in accordance with Baker Hughes HS&E policies and procedures.
Lead regular Incident Review Board meetings.
Corrective action identification as well as follow up on implementation for Maintenance and Operations specific problems.
Facilitate discussion with review board members from are to be Maintenance, Operations, Technical support/ Application Engineering
Root Cause Analysis’s & Failure documentation
Responsible to drive job & tool failure investigations as well as failure prevention.
Problem/Failure root cause analysis for all failures encountered using systematic root cause investigation tools such as Cause Mapping.
Failure Investigation reports to carry correct component level classification, Root Cause, Corrective Action plus responsible party, correct Non productive time and equipment failure classification.
Collect and store information (MaPS, FRACAS), evidence and documentation relevant to any investigation in organized fashion. To be available upon request and to be transferred to other responsible party if other department takes over the root cause investigation
Fleet Data Management
Ensure failure reporting and product life tracking systems are updated accordingly and in timely fashion.
Drive regular Fleet Upgrade and implementation meetings.
Ensure Maintenance & Operations are informed and are taking action appropriately.
Follow-up with Maintenance that technical upgrade’s requiring parts get action accordingly.
Ensure fleet upgrades are done. Provide risk assessment to Operations on potential impact.
Disposition of non conforming equipment
Ensure deviation waivers are created for equipment not meeting expected specifications.
Ensure a risk assessment is created and operational risks are accepted by operations
Support local Operations & Application Engineering with Reliability Risk versus product configuration and selection.
Expertise in being able to work with ‘Weibull’ charts in order to use reliability probability data effectively.
Provide regional reliability and performance reports based on globally standardized metrics
Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Reliability Engineering, Application Engineering, or Technical Support function
Formal qualification in an Engineering discipline (preferred electronic, electro-mechanic or mechanical discipline) with Bachelor's or Master’s degree
Solid analyzing skills.
Good general knowledge of ATK, OTK and BCPM
Electronics background preferred
Understanding of Quality Assurance functions, tasks and tools.
Ability to analyze Memory Data (knowledge of ALLER analyzing software is a plus)
May travel 10% of the time to provide support to other countries in the Gulf GeoMarket.
