Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Assist in processing and store high quality vitamin A cassava and maize;
- Provide clerical and office support to field staff and HarvestPlus project;
- Develop, test and commercialize new vitamin A cassava products for household and commercial use;
- Provide assistance to the postharvest officer to ensure standardization of products processing and packaging;
- Support the establishment of vitamin A cassava points of sale across Nigeria to increase consumers access;
- Support training of caterers and investors on processing and value addition;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification & Experience
OND in Food Science and Technology or related field with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.
