Identify and validate equipment improvement opportunities.
Implement condition monitoring technologies and analyse results.
Supports Rotating Equipment TL.
Supports implementation of reliability and maintenance programmes across Region.
Supports maintenance requirements for Ops Readiness. Plans and Start-Up Assurance reviews in the Region.
Input to and implementation of Regional RE Strategy, including maintenance strategies.
Perform condition monitoring and data analysis, including implementation.
Support execution team regarding RE scopes of work at site, including major overhauls.
Perform root cause failure analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Provide assurance to Rotating Equipment Team Leader that all aspects of technical integrity, within the machinery engineering discipline, are maintained.
Provide technical support to operations personnel as required to assist with operation, trouble shooting and fault finding of all RE.
Provide technical support to maintenance personnel when required for spare parts, maintenance activities, and competency development.
Provides input to regional rotating equipment annual and multi-year plan and budgets.
Inputs to and monitor Regional RE success factors / KPI’s.
Ensure standardization of approach for RE activities across the function / Region.
Support Regional vendor management process.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
Strong HSE and regulatory compliance record.
Experience as a Rotating Equipment Specialist working in Reliability and Maintenance or Engineering teams.
Familiarity with Rotating Equipment Industry Standards.
Deep Knowledge of turbines, compressors, pump design, preventive maintenance and repairs.
Basic knowledge of rotating equipment controls and instrumentation.
Basic rotor dynamics knowledge.
Working experience in preventive and predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
Interpersonal and team working skills; influencing through effective communication.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
Chartered professional status.
Master (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement new processes.
Able to coach and develop others.
Experience of major project environment.
