Job Description

This role is located in the Etihad Travel Mall located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and sell the complete range of Hala Abu Dhabi destination products and service and achieve the individual inbound sales targets, customer service objectives, product inventory maintenance and contribute to the overall sales and service objectives of Hala.


  • Achieve agreed individual sales targets by converting sales via Hala website, Hala global email address, incoming call volumes, outbound telesales, direct guests enquiries, key global tour operators and trade partners, inbound groups, Etihad global outstations, major events and UAE government departments
  • Sell the full range of Hala destination products and services including F1 Grand Prix and other major event packages, inbound air ticketing, meet and assist, transfers, accommodation, attractions, tours and value added products and services via the phone, Hala website, Hala email address, tour operators and face to face direct
  • Orion system maintenance of all Hala Abu Dhabi inventory including hotels, transfers, transport, tours and excursion, special events, meet and assist. Continuously liaise with hotel and product supplier to ensure inventory stock available and maintained and ensure all service are confirmed and provided as promised
  • Ensure all bookings are completed and reported within the Orion system and ensure all financial transactions are managed in an accurate and prompt manner
    Ensure fulfillment criteria and customer presentation levels are delivered including Hala Orion documentation and Hala standard email templates
  • Attend and assist at external Hala major events i.e. F1 Grand Prix and group activities to provide full on site ticketing and Hala service and support


  • Educated to at least secondary level is required, tertiary education a major advantage with certifications in ticketing and advanced fares using Sabre and Orion
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a destination management company and/or retail travel operation with minimum 1 year of advanced ticketing and fares. Personal travel experience throughout Abu Dhabi and the UAE, liaison with external suppliers and experience with UAE product is essential

  • Sales approaches & techniques training
  • Strong command of written and spoken English with Arabic an advantage
  • Sound understanding of Abu Dhabi & UAE market
  • Sound knowledge of customer service and sales principles
  • Thorough knowledge of tour operating in general, including air, hotels, resorts, car hire, tours, cruises, insurance & transfers
  • Strong knowledge of Etihad products and services
