Our reputable organization is expanding to Johannesburg (South Africa) area and as a result of this positive expansion we are looking for a sales and business development manager to head our travel and tours department.
Successful manager will be responsible for the development of the business in the area, finding new clients, developing relationships and driving sales. Enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who has experience in the incentives travel field. The candidate needs to be well travelled with a good knowledge of destinations.
Obtaining and growing new business
Key accounts management
Customer prospecting and lead generation
Cold calling on new leads / potential clients
Attending prospective client meetings
Perform local market and industry analysis to identify new business opportunities
Preparing presentations and tender documents, and presenting such documents to potential clients
Creating, setting up and management of teaser campaigns
Promoting Travel Company Incentives
Management and maintenance of client data base
Attending both local and international travel trade shows, supplier presentations and events
Keeping up to date with current trends
BSC/HND in a related field with 5years working experience in a 5-star hospitality, travel and tourism industry. Possession of master in relevant field is an added advantage.
