Job Description

Purpose Statement:

Responsible for bringing in businesses (online/offline) and ensuring that revenue targets are exceeded and business goals are attained for all merchant.


ey Accountabilities:

  • Identifies opportunities for business with customer traffic, building brand awareness via advertising on Dealdey
  • Cold calling for new business to advertise
  • Meeting and exceeding yearly/monthly/weekly/daily sales target
  • Follow-up on merchants for retention and conversion
  • Negotiating favorable agreement terms and closing all sales lead
  • Conducting periodic market survey for businesses
  • Represent the organization at all trade related events such as fairs, exhibitions, product launch, etc
  • Advisory to management as at when needed in-house promotions
  • Monitor business adverts daily/weekly/monthly to ensure full representation of our advert offerings
  • Identifying new markets and opportunities for business expansion and growth
  • Accurate report documentation
  • Maintain a good working relationship
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Unit Head


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


  • Minimum of a University degree in any related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar role would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in inventory processes
  • Data entry skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize on work load
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong interpersonal skills (externally and internally)
  • Ability to communicate value proposition to potential partners
  • Good Understanding of the principles of conversion, ROI and financial metrics associated with online advertising and online partnerships

  • 0-2% merchant complaints
  • Number of merchants retention and conversion
  • Revenue from merchants based on retention and conversion
  • Merchant satisfaction levels
  • Percentage achievement of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly goals
  • Percentage of promo offers brought in to be uploaded
