Job Description

To streamline and ensure proper implementation of Sales related processes and standard operating procedure
To effectively manage financials of Direct Sales Unit.
To build processes and controls to ensure accountability for adherence to DSR policy, regulatory and compliance framework.
To build adequate controls to provide Head of National Sales adequate information for management oversight of progress on the strategic agenda, risks and controls, while facilitating decision making to harness market opportunities.
To ensure proper functioning of day-to-day controls, periodic monitoring activities and timely resolution of risk issues. 


Financial Control Management:
•Closely monitor cost incurred vs. budget of operating costs for CCPL Sales
•Perform Variance analysis for CCPL sales costs
•Development and tracking of various cost report that will be useful for the Sales team
•Ensure adequate process and control on payment of Commission to agencies
•Ensure adequate processes to manage timely and correct payment against billing of third parties and reimbursements of CCPL sales staff.
•Assist the National Sales Head/Sales Governance Head in the preparation of Sales Plan
•Assist the National Sales Head/Sales Governance Head in the preparation of the Magic Pack reports for submission to Group Sales
•Assists the National Sales Head in the preparation of Sales Plan
•Assists in other SCB related projects
Governance and Compliance with the Group Requirements 
•Ensure timely performance of Sales Governance Standards Review of DSAs. To provide timely exception reports to Operational Risk and Business Unit Head.
•Conduct timely investigation of fraud cases involving DSRs and/or DSAs. Provide timely results of investigation to be reported to Operation Risk and Business Unit Head.
•Develop, maintain, roll out procedures and controls that meet requirements of Group policy, group standards and local law and regulations.
•Ensure compliance with the Group’s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering and KYC.
•Ensure that effective processes and controls are in place with clear responsibility and accountability for the prevention of money laundering, misselling, misrepresentation, fraud & customer protection in line with Group policy and standards, local legal and regulatory requirements.
•Initiate all annual reviews and due diligence process on DSR as laid down in DSR Management and Risk policy.
•Ensure timely submission of sales agency evaluation form performed by Channel Managers as indicated in the policy. Perform monthly review of SAEFs to check on the accuracy of the data
•Assist in the evaluation of accreditation documents of new agencies prior to submission to BSP
•Assist the Head of Sales Governance in preparing Risk Reports
•Prepare memo / correspondences on operational risk matters involving the DSAs
•Monitors the Gift Registry
•Perform such other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Sales Governance/National Sales Head relative to sales governance and operational risk matters of the Unit. 


- Degree holder, Preferably with banking experience
- Good knowledge on relevant consumer banking products and customer value propagation 
- Team player who shows initiative and assertiveness and good ability in team coordination 
- Self-motivated, with pro-active service attitude and able to work under pressure 
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of people, often in complex and difficult situations
