Job Description

We are looking for business secretary who is proficient in word processing and spreadsheet programs. He or she must be able to perform basic administrative duties, such as typing and filing. Organizational skills are essential. He or she must be able to transcribe notes into readable memos and reports. Interpersonal and phone skills would be helpful. Because many executives work long hours, a business secretary should have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

The role of the secretary is to support the chair in ensuring the smooth functioning of the management commitee.


1. answering telephone calls.
2. maintaining diaries.

3. arranging appointments.
4. taking messages.
5. typing and word processing.

7. organising and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)
