Job Description

• To supervise and coordinate the preparation of the Division Capital/ Operating budgets and development of the 5-year business plan under the direction of the Section Head and prepare periodic updates/performance reports of all Capital Items, Major and Extraordinary Maintenance Items, in association with all the sections.
• To monitor financial performance against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
• To participate in the development or enhancement of finance business processes within the division in collaboration with finance division.
• To coordinate finance audits carried out by external and internal auditors within the division, and follow up the progress of audit recommendations.
• To generate timely performance reports of Operating, Extra Ordinary, Major Maintenance and Capital Budgets to enable proactive financial controls.
• To coordinate with all maintenance sections to collate relevant data, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cost trends and analysis reports relating to financial performance for management meetings, as directed by Superior and ensure timely availability of accurate information.
• To ensure timely and accurate provision of all related financial information of the Division to the Finance department on areas such as financial budget requests, approvals, accruals and variance information to facilitate timely consolidation of data.
• To initiate an internal financial audit plan for the division and report non¬compliances.
• To act as the Smartstream end user representative for the division and focal point related feedback with FM division.
• To ensure that commitments/accruals of capital/operating expenditure are in accordance with financial policy.
• To ensure that the AFEs and AFOUs issued by the departments are in line with the delegation of financial authority and with proper justification.
• To support the site Technical Review Committee in the bid evaluation process.
• To coordinate and supervise the update of the fixed asset registers (ASR and JV), to ensure that the completed capital budget items are capitalized and the asset registers reflect the capitalization and write-off requests.
• To provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of Financial Reporting practices taking into account 'best practice', international standards to improve efficiency & effectiveness and changes in business environment.
• To train and develop the assigned staff with emphasis to UAE Nationals. 


• Bachelor degree. 
• Min years of experience (9).
• Experience in oil and gas or Production Company.
• Coordinate finance internal and external audits.
