Providing input on the design and materials employed on a project plant in a manner that ensures safety, longevity and cost optimization of the operation:
- Corrosion Monitoring
- Corrosion Allowance
- Inhibition Treatment
- Cathodic Protection
- Fluid Handling
- Painting & Coating Specifications
Creating MSDs (Material Selection Diagrams) with the objective of recommending appropriate alloys, non-metallics, corrosion allowances, corrosion monitoring and inhibition locations.
May be assigned to create and maintain the Deliverables Progress Plan for Corrosion-related issues on a project.
Checking Vendor documents to ensure compliance with specifications, technical accuracy and completeness.
-Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Material or similar;
-Minimum 7 years on a similar position;
-Previous EPC experience required;
-Advanced knowledge of specialist corrosion software such as ECE4 or PREDICT.
