Job Description

Executing various tasks in the Handbooks content management system (CMS) and any other client CMSs; delivering editorial tasks to the required quality standards in line with client service level agreements and style requirements; project management; customer service delivery; business development. 


Client contract delivery:

- Ensure that all content, e.g. Legal Instruments, is loaded to the Documentum Content Management System (CMS), or any other CMS. taking appropriate action to ensure that all schedules are met within SLA timescales at the requisite level of quality 
- Build strong working relationships with team members and other related areas within the business, in order to help establish a coordinated approach to problem solving and operational efficiency throughout the process 
- Operate as a client point of contact, delivering high quality standards of service, acting proactively to ensure instructions are clear and expectations are met 
- Administer and maintain any schedules and tracking documents as appropriate 
- Provide high quality proof-reading to content prior to uploading 
- Carry out user acceptance testing on website upgrades 
- Assist with the hardcopy print version of the Handbooks as required

 Project management:

- Provide a professional project management service to clients 
- Ensure projects are planned effectively and all relevant folders and processes are set up 
- Create robust lines of communication with the project team and the client, keeping the client updated and involved at all times 
- Ensure any issues are immediately escalated to the CWS Digital Services Manager and help to resolve them in a timely and effective manner

Customer service and quality assurance:

- Adhere to and promote the CWS Customer Service Charter amongst the team 
- Ensure customer relationships are effectively and proactively managed attending customer meetings as necessary 
- Proactively manage and deliver excellent customer service to CWS clients 
- Ensure our customer service is regularly assessed and look for improvements at all times 
- Adhere to the requirements of ISO: 9001 and 27001, ensuring documentation is regularly reviewed and maintained, whilst continually looking for improvements to processes and record-keeping

Team development:

- Provide support to your team members and the CWS Digital Services Manager, and assist them in delivering the client contract in an efficient and responsive manner and to a high quality 
- Help promote an open, honest and friendly environment in which your team can operate 
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and innovation within the team 
- Leverage your own experience and skills, and those of other team members, within your team to maximise efficiencies in contract delivery and to assist with business development 

Business development:

- Assist the CWS Digital Services Manager, Account Manager and CWS Service Delivery Manager in sourcing new business opportunities through existing client relationships and through potential new clients 
- Adopt a business development approach to your work, e.g. upselling 
- Assist with tender response submissions and quoting for new client work


Essential Skills Required

Degree or commensurate experience 
Online editorial publishing experience 
Customer service delivery experience Communication skills (written and oral) 
Project management skills


Desirable Skills

Content management qualification or commensurate experience 
Business development skills 
Experience of online content editing 
Experience of print publishing 
Knowledge of web standards, e.g. XML, HTML
