Job Description

•The role holder is responsible for driving bottom-line business performance through creating an effective, efficient organisation where maximising employees performance and engagement is at the heart of every interaction
•Act as a catalyst, stimulating high engagement through ensuring great manager behaviours – including appropriate configuration of people product and processes
•Promote a strengths based organisation, supported by a strong performance culture 


•The role holder would be expected to devise and implement a Strategic People Agenda (SPA) for their areas of responsibility 
•Support line managers in configuring and deploying Group people policies, products and processes to drive engagement thereby driving business performance
•Proactively coach leadership teams/Mancos within their area of responsibility both as a team and as individuals to drive business performance through high engagement
•Ensure a robust talent pipeline to meet the future needs of the functions through managers identifying developing and appropriately stretching talent at every level
•Ensure all employee relations concerns are dealt with promptly, in line with relevant country regulations and Group policy and guidance. 
•Manage the annual performance and compensation review for area of responsibility, whilst ensuring financial discipline, driving performance differentiation and cascading of key messages 
•Collaborate with Business HR colleagues on all products e.g. Engagement and Talent Management, to agree stakeholder engagement, drive functional strategies, processes and messages at the Country level 
•Collaborate with colleagues across HR (including specialists and HRSSC) to ensure continuous improvement in the function
•Support the continuous review of their businesses operating model for alignment to the business strategy using all available data to assess effectiveness and demonstrate proactivity in surfacing and securing resolution to points of misalignment
•Responsible for delivering on medium impact projects or initiatives for their areas of responsibility 


•Experience of being an HR Relationship Manager at a country level 
•Strong understanding of business function including key products, key roles, operating model and strategic agenda
•Understand financials (e.g. interpreting financial statements, budgeting, project accounting)
•Understands and ability to design and implement Strategic People Agenda in line with Business and People priorities
•Strong knowledge and understanding of the various HR products and how to implement them within a country/region (e.g. engagement, performance management) to address business issues
•Understanding and practical experience of managing medium complexity Employee Relations activities e.g., managing redundancies, grievances & disciplinary process. 
•Uses knowledge, communication and relationship skills to positively influence key business decisions within their area of responsibility
•Capable of influencing decisions within their team and at Country level
•Forms effective relationships with key stakeholders and able to build credibility with their businesses
•Ability to stand up for what is right, in the face of adversity
•Excellent communication : clear oral and written skills; effective questioning and active listening
•Strong facilitation skills at an individual and team levels
•Coaching at an individual and leadership level
•Strong work orientation, taking psychological ownership to deliver on time every time.
