As a Senior IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing pivotal support to our offices, ensuring the timely resolution of issues and the optimised performance of IT systems.
Ensuring the effective delivery of SLAs, you will provide onsite and remote 2nd and 3rd line support.
You will maintain IT and business systems, this will include working with servers and the environment in which they are hosted.
Additionally, you will provide services and support to our UK IT infrastructure, hardware and software to maintain maximum availability and highlight and document potential operational risks.
Your other duties will include:
- Ensuring projects are completed within set timescales and to the high standards required
- Maintaining and creating key documentation
- Reviewing working procedures and recommending improvements
- Developing IT support and service levels
You must have a minimum of five years' experience working in an IT support and/or business systems support environment, delivering high quality IT Services.
You must also possess demonstrable experience of supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Windows XP and/or 7 and Office 2003, 2007 or 2010.
It is also essential to have business systems support experience, utilising at least three of the following:
- VMware ESX and/or ESXi 4 or 5
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Citrix Presentation and/or XenApp Server
- Microsoft IIS
- SQL 2005 or 2008
- Microsoft Navision and/or NAV
- Microsoft CRM
- Microsoft Sharepoint 2003, 2007 or 2010
- Snowdrop HR
- IBM Cognos
You must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail. Self-motivated and team oriented.
You must have a customer focused approach to activities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Windows server installation, usage, configuration and maintenance skills would be beneficial to your application.
An understanding of TCP/IP networking and LAN technologies, including IP address configuration, and troubleshooting is equally favourable.
