The successful candidate will have responsibility for marketing for all MSD poultry products and services
Be part of Key Account teams for specialist veterinary practices and large integrated poultry businesses;
Help develop and implement brand and key account strategies
Take commercial decisions and negotiate with customers
Plan and manage events and sponsorships to maximise MSD’s profile within the poultry industry
Liaise with internal colleagues to plan and manage product launches, supply and life-cycle management
Manage MSD’s advertising and PR activities within a set budget
Be able to support or deputise on occasion for other members of the team for vaccine training/audits/on-farm activities
Degree educated, preferably in agriculture/business area.
Ideally a marketing qualification.
Experience within the poultry industry strongly preferred.
Sales and marketing experience required.
Ability to analyse data, plan events, negotiate, work as part of a small team, build and maintain good customer relationships.
Excellent communication skills.
Field based but would need to spend around 2 days/week in Milton Keynes office.
